Happy Ocean Foods was founded in 2020 by Julian Hallet and Robin Drummond. As passionate surfers with many years of startup and FMCG experience who care about the ecological balance of the oceans, the founders focus their company on the development and production of plant-based alternatives to fish and seafood. The vision: Tasty, healthy and nutritious alternatives for everyone – a win for consumers and the oceans. The company launched its first product, the HAPPY SHRYMPS, in January 2022, followed by the HAPPY TYUNA in July 2023. The products are now available to end consumers through food retailers and online retailers and to business customers through common food service providers. The innovative startup is supported by well-known investors such as Nico Rosberg and Blue Horizon.
