Gambas al ajillo – plant-based

Ingredients

      • 150g Happy Ocean Shrimps
      • 1 small pointed pepper
      • 3 cloves of garlic
      • ½ red onion, finely diced
      • 10g parsley
      • 4 tbsp olive oil
      • ½ tsp chili flakes
      • 3½ tbsp white wine
      • sea ​​salt, black pepper
      • Optional: baguette for serving (toasted)

preparation

Peel and roughly chop the garlic. Roughly chop the parsley. Remove the seeds from the pointed peppers and dice finely.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the garlic, onions and diced peppers for about 1 minute, but do not brown them.

Add the shrimps and chili flakes and fry over medium heat for about 3 - 4 minutes until the shrimps have taken on color. Add white wine and simmer over medium heat for approx. 1 - 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, season with sea salt and a little lemon juice. Bon appetit!
